Diese "Verfolgungsszene" wird als literarische Reflexion auf das damals neue Medium "Film" verstanden. Die zu Beginn der Erzählungen geschaffenen, privaten Metaphern zu Blumfelds Lebens, setzen sich im beruflichen Umfeld fort.
