Publisher's Summary

The Preppers were right. And the time is now.

The Blue Plague came roaring out of the Congo and into the United States - and it can't be stopped. The Infected become violently insane and impossibly strong. They're not zombies - no, that would be too easy - they're something much worse. The Infected are violent and unstoppable, but they can think. They can heal from most wounds. And worst of all - they can reproduce.

Bruce, Debbie, Mike, and Nancy have been preparing for the worst for years. There's nothing to do but bug out - and they know exactly where to go. But on the arduous journey to reach the sanctuary of their farm, they confront thousands of The Infected. Along the way they make some invaluable new friends, and together, the emboldened troop kicks the hell out of the Infected - and the equally dangerous marauders who are willing to murder anyone in their way.

Join Bruce, Mike, and their newfound friends as they battle their way across Infected Louisiana, thwarting every foe imaginable in order to reach the sanctuary of their farm.

Blue Plague Book One: The Fall is a survivalist adventure filled with courage and betrayal, tragedy and hope.

Pushing the boundaries of Humanity

What made the experience of listening to Blue Plague: The Fall the most enjoyable?

The way society falls apart and the heroes that arise to help and guide and rebuild society.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Blue Plague: The Fall?

The way the author went to explain how the initial spread was helped by humanitarian aid workers not wanting to be inconvenienced by border protections put in place. I think the key words were don't tell the authorities because they will quarantine you. So lets lie so we are not inconvenienced "sorry world"

What didn’t you like about Eric Davidson’s performance?

I am sorry this narrator did not do this book any favors, his voice tone makes listening to this story a struggle. I listened to the Dark Titan series by the same author and the narrator was a million percent better and did the book justice. This narrator is killing this book. The only reason I persevered and put up with it was because of the Dark titan series. I could not try a second time unless I want the monotone droll to to put me to sleep.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

No not really. I liked the humanity aspect, a bit exaggerated was the fact that every person of authority Police/Army were suddenly bloodless unfeeling killers. Try Dark Titans it is much better.

Any additional comments?

No way could I struggle through trying to listen to this narrator a second time "sorry"

Bad narrator

If you are going to use the same narrator for the rest of the series, don’t bother. He is the worst!!

Story line very good. Performance Awful. Sad.

Would you try another book from Thomas A. Watson and/or Eric Davidson?

I have read The Forgotten Forbidden America series and The Dark Titan series. Both Series had very good narrators. I'm surprised more care was not taken to secure a talented narrator.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I liked Bruce and Mike.

Would you be willing to try another one of Eric Davidson’s performances?

No.

Do you think Blue Plague: The Fall needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Yes with a different narrator. Personally I don't enjoy listening to Eric Davidson.

Horrible narrator!

Narrator sounded like a cheesy 80s game show host. This was a decent zombie book but this guy voice acting needs hella work.

Great book!

Wow, loved this book and bummed that the rest of the series isn't on audible yet. I might have to actually break down and actually read! The characters are great and well thought out. The narrarator did a great job sucking me into the book and into the characters lives.

Good Story

Good zombie fix. The narrator was just average, but the story was good with interesting characters. The action kept the book flowing along.

Stay away from the sequel...it’s a mess.

Its True!

The narrator is so awful, it's almost laughable. I have concerns for an author that would allow this person to read their book. The story may be good, but how could you tell?

Wonderful interduction to an extraordinary adventure and unique cast of characters.

Mr Watson is a masterful story teller, giving each situation and character detail and motivation. The story draws you in from the beginning , and the action never stops until you get the feeling that you could be living in the situations your self. The violence can be overwhelming at times. However I enjoyed the book from cover to cover and would encourage you to read it for yourself..
