The last few chapters are so crass, no real ending. Is this what high schoolers are really like?

14 hours I'll never get back. Pacing super slow, tons of repetition and unnecessary detail. Characters felt flat and I could not connect with any of them, Suffice to say, will not be listening to the remaining 4 books in this 80hr series.
