Caine at his best!

Michael Caine has left us with much wisdom and encouragement in this publication. He always has been an exceptional actor and this, like his earlier book, is a slap in the face to those in leadership positions who judge and discriminately condemn their fellow human beings.

Caine is a success in spite of much unfair treatment in the industry during his lengthy career. He speaks wise advice, where, through his own personal experiences, he encourages the listener to make good of every difficulty.

This is great advice for young men and women who are perhaps struggling with discouragement or who may have been on the receiving end of hurtful comments. Caine has been there, listen to what he has to say.

In his relaxed tone and easy to listen to Elephant's Castle accent, the book is very, very entertaining.

I'm on the 2nd listening to this audio book, and it won't be the last, I guarantee!!

I really enjoyed this, great life lessons

It was very entertaining and having Michael perform the reading was a joy. Michael has had many life experiences that I could relate to in my own way. Thanks Michael for sharing your highs and lows.

Some wisdom, advice and perspective on life

Enjoyable listen with some life lessons sewn in to Michael Caine's film career and life in general. Somewhat repetitive if you have listened to or read Caine's previous autobiographies.

Wonderful insights and delightfully rendered

Michael Caine’s books have been, to me, some of the most wise and entertaining I’ve listened to / read. In a world of missing men to look up to and gain invaluable insights, this book is most welcomed. Never does Michael brag or boast - just openly and honestly says it like is. Thank you once again Mr Caine!

'Find what you love and do it as well as you can'

Fabulous anecdotes and great advice from a national treasure who knows he's made a brilliant life from humble beginnings. It's beautifully read by the great man himself and what comes through more than fame and success is the importance of family, doing what you love, being decent and having a bloody good time. Love him and love the book.

A charming book that made me smile

listening to this book It’s easy to understand why Michael Caine is so well liked by his peers. This book is gentle but very funny in places. It’s well read and easy to listen to. I think it would be a very relaxing book on a long journey, I was left me feeling that Michael Caine would actually be a nice person to know.

Lovely book

Download this lovely book where Michael Caine talks about his life, experiences and memories and uses them as examples for everyone to use. Success and failure are discussed using his extensive portfolio of good and bad work. The anecdotes are wonderful and I loved Michael reading his book as if it was a post dinner party chat over coffee. Recommended listening!

You’ve already heard this

I do love Michael Caine, but this is pretty much the same book he published last time with the same anecdotes. You’ve already heard it.

What’s not to like, another book by Michael Caine. Listening to his voice while he talks about what he has learned in life, perfect company. Thoroughly enjoyed his memories.

Much better than I expected.

A fairly standard story of rags to riches with some considerable hardships overcome but made all the more real by Michael Caine reading it, despite his sometimes awkward delivery style. As he says himself, it's a good read for non-actors and gives some sound advice that could apply to anyone.

Overall, I enjoyed listening to it.
