The story sees Vance and Sloan come together again to try and solve a mystery surrounding deadly blood magic war that is fuelling the hatred between the witch coven and the vampire coven. It's a second chance romance for Vance and Sloan who almost ran away together when they were younger to escape their awful fathers.
Rylee and Christian delivered an outstanding narration performance as Sloan and Vance. They both perfectly captured the character’s personalities. Rylee made me want to be Sloan, using tone, pacing, and inflection to communicate shifting emotions effectively. Christian brought emotional depth and nuance to the performance and made Vance so damn hot and growly.
This story is character driven, and not only will you love the MCs but also the side characters like Vance's right hand man Tommy and also Zarren, who is the leader of another vampire coven. These two made me laugh, Tommy with his bluntness to Vance and Zarren with his dry wit.
So, the motorbike "scenes" in the book are EPIC 🌶️ You NEED to read the book just for those! The spice between Vance and Sloan was perfection and I couldn't get enough of them 🔥
The pacing of Blood Red Hex is fast and furious, and there is always something interesting happening so you will be held captive and immersed in their world.
