Misandry Laced Epic Fantasy

The bones of this story, whilst somewhat formulaic, are quite good. The world whilst new and exciting, carried too many distractions such as echoes of the modern Western world’s pseudo woke ideals. The author should look to Sarah J. Maas when writing as a woman expressing female strength without overtly referring to how men would be treated, or men’s foibles, or the need to beat men where men are clearly superior. (I.e. the biggest strongest human woman against the biggest strongest human man, well it is a fantasy book) The Author should look to Queen Elisabeth on how to to show and demonstrate the strength and competence that is neither a caveat nor requiring a comparative analysis for validation. This man v woman insecurity in one insecure character could be understood and easily part of the character’s arc. However, that insecurity being written into most of the female characters and in the overt relegation/nerfing of male characters speaks to the insecurity and misandry of the author. The writing goes so far as to highlight the foibles of men, but in a need to be equal in all things, will detail a woman with the same foibles, but in the case of the woman those foibles would be embraced as a sense of empowerment. Please constrain the modern day overt social dilemma to a single character or culture, and get it out of the way as you tell a good story in a world of your making in which the women are powerful and in places of power because they are, and not as part of some gender war.
