Excellent read, excellent reader. Anne Rice is one of the most important writers of the 20th and 21st centuries. Her prose is pregnant with the fragrance of hanging moss, foetid swamp grass, and delicious horror. Characters who negotiate their bizarre circumstances with the grace of Downton Abbey upstairs and downstairs staff. Oh were we to have numerous books about Tarquin and Aunt Queen. You won’t regret this purchase as an audio book. It’s one you can hear over and over and find new things each time.

I was first introduced to Lestat when I was 11 or 12. My prudish nan thought it was a tween horror book. hahahaha.....
I am in love with all the characters. I cried when I first read Interview with the vampire.
a coupleish of decades later, I am revisiting those emotions.
Blackwood Farm was a hidden gem that I loved having eead to me.

I am in love with the work put into the story.
