Johnson played a major role in the Kennedy assassination, and unlike the baseless speculation and second-hand hearsay found elsewhere, Nelson grounds his claims with historical and biographical fact in a well-structured narrative that connects LBJ's youthful character flaws to the shady dealings in his early political life, and finally to the mentality that led him to - as Nelson asserts - assassinate JFK. Nelson is assisted in part by the convincing work of Fred Sanders, who is able to convey a believable curiosity and confidence while boldly implicating the 36th president.

Well worth reading.
A good read but shocking contents. I have always thought there was something more about President Kennedy’s death.

a long slog
the book makes a strong circumstantial case for LBJs involvement. however some of the witnesses cited (such as the Galloping cancer lady Judyth Baker) have no credibility.
all in all a good read, however some heuristic leaps and conclusions drawn from events are far fetched.

Johnson was a Bully and liar at the minimum
I've read much of this elsewhere. it seems that if you can disprove one point of the Warren commission that should be enough. but we will now never know the truth
