Story
When most people think of Michael Jordan, they think of the beautiful shots, his body totally in sync with the ball, hitting nothing but net. He is responsible for incredible moments so ingrained in basketball history that they have their own names: The Shrug, The Shot, The Flu Game. But for all his greatness, there's also a dark side to Jordan: a ruthless competitor, a gambler. There's never been a biography that balanced these personas-until now.

Story
Through roles in cherished films such as Mrs. Doubtfire, Jumanji, Aladdin and Hook, he became the genial face of family comedy. His childlike enthusiasm was infectious, sweeping viewers away. Allied to his lightning-quick improvisation and ability to riff lewdly off any cue thrown at him, Robin was that rare thing - a true comic genius who appealed to adults and children equally. He could also play it straight, and empathetic depth came to him naturally.

With an unmatched winning streak of thirty-six consecutive years, Walters has become fabulously wealthy by placing hundreds of millions of dollars a year in gross wagers, including one Super Bowl bet of $3.5 million alone. Publisher's Summary
Read by John McEnroe and Patty Smyth.
He is one of the most controversial sportsmen in history and a legend of Open Era tennis. But after reaching the top of his game - what came next? A decade after his international number-one best seller Serious, John McEnroe is back and ready to talk.
Now the undisputed elder statesman of tennis, McEnroe has won over his critics as a matchless commentator and analyst at Wimbledon and other Grand Slam tournaments - with outspoken views on the modern game and its top players. He has continued to compete on the court, winning the ATP Champions Tour a record six times, and has travelled the globe to play in charity events.
More surprising have been the calls from TV producers, inviting John to riff on his famous hot temper in cult shows such as 30 Rock and Curb Your Enthusiasm. And then there is his longstanding passion for American contemporary art.
In But Seriously John McEnroe confronts his demons and reveals his struggle to reinvent himself from ex-champion to father, broadcaster and author. The result is a richly personal account, blending anecdote and reflection in an inspirational reevaluation of what it means to be - and stay - successful.

Now I understand the man
A great insight into the real man. I formed opinions of John McEnroe on what I sore on a tennis court. I never loved or hated him. But listening to his wife ( whom I do love her work) talk about the man he really is. His honesty and sincerity through out the book and the fact that he is a work horse with ridiculous schedules. I now have a new understanding and admiration for the man.
John, I now call myself a fan.
