About this listen

Welcome to Billionaire Ranch, where love points you in the right direction when you least expect it.

North: Everyone thinks I’m the disgraced cowboy. That means my cover’s working. The focus of my FBI investigation? North Wainright. One look at her and I’m f$cked. I want her, and not behind bars. The closer I get, the more I learn about the woman I’ve decided is mine. When I find out what happened at Billionaire Ranch, I discover I’m not the only one hiding the truth. North also has secrets and they just might get her killed. How can I save her when she finds out I’m the biggest lie of all?

South: I’m South Wainright and winning my heart means the keys to Billionaire Ranch. Getting in my bed’s one thing, but my heart’s off limits. Until I see her. The maid. She’s new to town. A beautiful mystery. Sweet, shy, and … not interested. For some reason, she doesn’t want a man with a fortune, which means we’re perfect for each other. I fall and fall hard. Except Maisey’s living a lie. She is a lie. Because after a lifetime of deception, I need the truth.

East: Who wants a billionaire bachelor? Every single woman—and a few not-so-single ones. That’s why I avoid flings, relationships, or hookups. Until I’m propositioned to pretend to sleep with a woman. Pretend? As if. Because one look at the fiery redhead and there’s no faking it. I’m all in … her. Except she sneaks off after and I’m left with only her first name and panties. Turns out, finding her is the easy part. Making her mine? Impossible, once I discover she’s my student.

West: I might be a billionaire, but I’m a Montana rancher through and through. I lead a simple, quiet life. I don’t care about contracts and mergers. Then why do I want the feisty, pint-sized lawyer from New York? She’s everything I’m not, a workaholic with something to prove. When I get her separated from her cell, her laptop—and her panties—she’ll see there’s more to life than the corner office. Except I might find there’s more for me than riding the open range.

Hit + Miss

Whilst I enjoyed the different tropes in this book- ones that I hadn’t seen in other cowboy books, not all of these books hit the mark.
Also- these guys aren’t really cowboys per se- they just live on/ around the big ranch.

They were fast paced- which isn’t an issue, but sometimes things felt really rushed or skipped over.

It would have been much better had the narration been dual- having a female narrator for male POVs was tricky to get through. The narrator did well- but it just lost some of its appeal.

There was a lot of miscommunication in this series and I’m not a fan of that 😅
I actually hate the whole “I won’t even mention this because it seems like a bad time”. South was particularly bad for that!

But- if you don’t mind the miscommunications these aren’t bad books!
The spice in book 1 is pretty good and happens pretty quickly.
Book 2 is slower paced spice wise.

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
