About this listen

Years ago, Wynn and Elizabeth Delancy adopted Christine and Henry. Now Christine has moved to a nearby city. Working as a secretary in a prosperous company, she is drawn to her employer's handsome son. Henry has joined the Canadian Mounties, where one of his first duties is to help a young widow and her infant. In their new lives, as new relationships grow, can Christine and Henry still draw on the faith they have learned from their parents?©2000 Janette Oke (P)2001 Recorded Books Christian Fiction Contemporary Contemporary Romance Fiction Genre Fiction Historical Historical Fiction Romance

Eager to listen to this book as no 5 in the series. Having read the first 4 books you get to hear the characters voices in your own head. The narrator never matches your own imagination. No matter how good they are.
Disappointed at first, as there seemed there could have been 1 or 2 books between. Due the fact the boy Henry was now a Mountie himself & an extra adopted daughter Christine appears for the first time. This was forgotten half way through & the last chapters highlighted how we truly need to be still & actually listen to God when we pray. It is so easy to get caught up in one’s own agenda. Gods plan is always for good.
Thanking God for you Janette Oke.
