Publisher's Summary

The Expeditions of the Six Fingers take listeners back to the dungeon-crawling origins of the medieval fantasy genre. Magic spells and weapons are few and far between. Monsters are just being discovered. At the opening of the series, religious zealots are on the verge of reducing the civilizations of Arqonias to dark superstition, and only the kingdom of Northem stands as a beacon of reason against them.

The Six Fingers–Jonne and Remi, Brillix and Ryckerd, Pulumbonk and The Subu–are summoned by The Red Lady to search for the Azure Font, an infinite wellspring of magicka. The Six Fingers are joined by new allies and travel through many lands to the recently arisen Blistering Gates. Beyond awaits a ruined temple housing the Azure Font and an eldritch musical instrument known as Tintin. Man-burning zealots, blood-drinking savages, magical traps, a horde of corrupted insectoid humans, and what might be an ancient god stand in their way.
