enjoyed it
I was a little disappointed with the change of narrator. Different dialects not so convincing. However, enjoyed it overall.

Why did they change the narrator?
The narrator who voiced the first two books was way better. This one portrayed Taffy as if he were a fool by making him sound like an imbecilic clown as a opposed to a soft spoken and desirable gentleman like the original narrator did. I found it negatively impacted the good story and enjoyable writing.

Why change the narrator?
Very frustrating to listen to, I couldn’t differentiate between the characters at times and the the shrill sounds when there was an a sh in the word drove me mad.

I’m really sorry Penny Parkes
I loved your first two books of this series and the narration was very well done. I’ve tried my best with this one but I can’t listen to more than chapter 16, which was horrible, and that was only because I’m loyal to you and this series. I just can’t cope with any more, it’s doing my head in. I’m also going to send back the last one in the series with the Christmas theme. As soon as I listened to the first part, I knew I couldn’t go any further.
I’m going to ask for a refund but will happily rebuy both if you relaunch them with the previous narrator. I really love the characters and the plot. So sorry.
