I bailed out at chapter 14. When the police officer travelled all that way to see Greg about his sister, I knew then exactly where the story was going and so it did, becoming just too predictable. As chapter 14 rolled on, the predictability got worse and where the story was going was getting stupid.

Verbose ... just far too many words and I found myself getting distracted.

The performance is good. One has to mark it down, though, because, if top marks are given, as I would have done, it raises the score of everything else along with it.
