Don't mind being talked down to? You'll love it.
Couldn't finish this book. Felt to much like it was aimed at dads who don't want to really bond with or know their baby. Most of the advice is based on the idea that you're used to having your wife not work, stay home, clean and make dinner. it's 2016 this book is terrible. what a waste of time/money.

Excellent tips
There are definitely some common sense, you’ll figure out what works for you, kind of tips in this piece, but there are several great tips. I think most will be able to benefit from a at least few of these, especially when you’re a new parent for the first time.

A lot of common sense
I was not blown away with the information that was given. And the narration sounds like a cheesy 70's school film.

lackluster.
list heavy. anecdotal. poorly researched. far too short to be of any real use. more pamphlet than book.

Good, but.....
It had good tips and it was well written, however the author refers to your baby as "she" and "her". If you have a girl then it will just seem natural. But I had a boy and it was very distracting. I wouldn't recommend that they him or he, but rather change it to "it" or "the baby" to keep it more universal, no mater what gender the child is.

The best audiobook I\ve seen for new dads
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
My wife just had our first child a few weeks ago and it is not exaggerating to say that I was absolutely terrified and unsure how will I be able to handle it. I'd been reading my wife's pregnancy books, and they were quite useless for me, so I decide to get myself a better read. Becoming a (good) father is a journey and I feel more prepared after listening to this audiobook, because it covered so many different topics about this subject. I highly recommend it!
