About this listen

Now a major motion picture! The “deliciously intense” (USA TODAY) New York Times bestselling phenomenon follows a good girl drawn to a very bad boy...

The new Abby Abernathy is a good girl. She doesn’t drink or swear and has the appropriate number of cardigans in her wardrobe. With the darkness of her past behind her, she believes her freshman year at college is the start of a new beginning. But then she meets Travis Maddox.

Lean, cut, and covered in tattoos, Eastern University’s Walking One-Night Stand is exactly what Abby needs to avoid. Intrigued by her resistance to his appeal, Travis tricks her with a simple bet. If he loses, he must remain abstinent for a month. If Abby loses, she must live in his apartment for the same amount of time. Either way, Travis has no idea that he has met his match in this “beautifully sexy, beautifully intense, and beautifully perfect” (Jessica Park, New York Times bestselling author).

Where does Beautiful Disaster rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Honestly don't have an order but if i did it would be pretty high up there

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The two main characters Travis and Abby really balance each other out not just with there personalities but with their back stories as well one doesn't out shine the other and i honestly think they fit together perfectly from events like poker night with the brothers (hustlin) which openned up for more stories to thanks giving (which was adorable yet heart smashing) to Abby's trip to the Tattoo shop (Mrs Abby Maddox) the characters fit so perfectly dysfunctional it was like making a peanut butter sandwich stuffing it up and having your mum put it back together and cut the crust off bread for you.
weirdly put but emotions are weird and food is yum

Have you seen the bad boy around campus, the one with the tatts and drips sex appeal? Travis Maddox is your man for 1 night only if you let him, until that is he meet her, the girl who doesn't take his crap and stands her ground not giving in to his seduction. Abbie Abernathy refused to be drawn into the darkness again, she fought her feeling and his advances till she realised that together they were a beautiful disaster.

I have read this book cover to cover again and again so I was skeptical of listening to it but the narration was clear and comfortable to listen to. I will likely re-listen again and again.

A good read

Look, it’s not a literary masterpiece but it’s a good trashy read. Captures the drama and intensity of young infatuation (Twilight / Fifty Shades of Grey fans will be sated). Humorously dated in terms of outfits, tattoo placement, and notions of consensual relationships / feminist discourse / political correctness on some issues. If you can look past the red flags for domestic violence/emotional manipulation it’s an enjoyable read! LOL
