Both the story and the narrator are fantastic but the only problem was the dreams. It's always nice to have special effects but in this case I could barely understand a word. To hear any words spoken in the dreams I have to have my volume up to max and then suddenly the dream ends and I no longer have any hearing. Everything else as I've already said is fantastic and I would definitely recommend this book.

Listening to an audiobook can be scary, it really falls down onto the person narrating it. This book was perfectly spoken, or should I say performed by Kevin T. Collins! This audiobook also contains music to represent the music the protagonist listens to, and rain, thunder, wind and fire sound effects to really help build an immersive experience for us. I really really enjoyed this experience and would strongly recommend anyone wanting to try out their first audiobook to try with this. Oh and also, the story was amazing too! Can’t wait to listen to the sequel :)

I really enjoyed this book. There’s the coming of age and the love story intertwined with the supernatural. The only downfall is you can hear the dreams at all. The recording of these sections are terrible. Otherwise a great listen
