Den danske journalist og forfatter Poul Trier Pedersen begynder i 2002 og slutter i 1921, når han i erindringsbogen "Baglæns" fortæller om et langt og spændende liv. Bogen kommer også år for år ind på nogle af de vigtigste begivenheder - både her i Danmark og i resten af verden. Poul Trier Pedersen (1921-2012) var en dansk journalist og forfatter. Han arbejdede blandt andet for Udenrigsministeriets pressebureau og for Dagens Nyheder, og fra 1965-1970 var en redaktionschef på TV-avisen. I 1963 blev han hædret med Cavlingprisen for en række nyskabende tv-programmer. Poul Trier Pedersen har skrevet flere både skøn- og faglitterære bøger.
