It's a familiar plot. Rich boy, girl from his past, he's jaded and mean and she doesn't put up with it. But it's a good trope for a reason.

I almost didn’t finish it when apparently she comes on 2 different occasions from kissing and dry rubbing on him for 2m 🤦🏻‍♀️. I had to go and check if it was written by a men.
Jacob Morgan is honestly the only reason I kept going.
If you like frustrating man that just don’t communicate and shut off from the world this book is for you. If you like meek women who apparently like to dry hump and then avoid any type of conversation about it, this book is for you. Otherwise just enjoy Jacob’s voice

I always love when I'm surprised by a book. I originally purchased this audio more for the narrator's then the appeal of the story but I'm so grateful I did. It was so much more than I expected.

The banter between Rory and Mascen had me smiling. They weren't perfect but they complemented each other perfectly. It would have been hard to get past his asshole tendencies if not for his inner monologue, so kudos to the author for explaining his character enough.

Great listen, definitely think it's worth the credit and time!!

I tried and tried to like this book. It took me 5 attempts to read and while I did finish the book I there just wasn’t much to keep me interested. I like my books a little more spicy.
Narrators were great. Story was lacking.
