Elvis Presley’s unbreakable stronghold on the psyche of women - and theirs on him - is the focus of this much-lauded book by Elvis expert, journalist, and Country Music Association Media Achievement Award winner Alanna Nash.

Called "by far the best study of Presley I have ever read...Impressively researched written - and felt" by New York Times best-selling author Philip Norman (author of John Lennon and Shout!) and “the most entertaining Elvis book ever” by New York Times best-selling author Jimmy McDonough (Shakey: Neil Young's Biography), Baby, Let’s Play House is the first ever Elvis book to focus solely on his complex relationships with women, starting with his mother, and including celebrities such as Ann-Margret, Linda Thompson, Mary Ann Mobley, Cher, Raquel Welch, Barbara Eden, and Cybill Shepherd.

Featuring dozens of exclusive interviews, Baby, Let’s Play House is a must-have collector’s item for fans of The King everywhere.

I found this audiobook to be one of the best informational stories on Elvis Presley somethings I didn’t even know! He was an amazing person although flawed in some areas.

A brilliant informative audiobook

I enjoyed this book. Found it very interesting, with plenty of information I hadn’t heard before. Gives the reader a good overall perspective & understanding of ‘Elvis - the human being’. I enjoyed the psychology breakdown of Elvis’s life, that others reviewed poorly, but each to their own. Overall I would recommend it to other readers.

Worth a Read

The psychological babble of “twinless twins” did my head in. As did listening to all what supposedly happened on each and every single interaction with the women he dated and the conversations had as he lay dying on the bathroom floor. The narrator’s voice is annoying, maybe because I’m an Aussie I’m not used to listening to such a strong American twang. This book was far far too long!

Mind boggling painful
