This is a very literal example of "you can't judge a book by it's cover". I was expecting either an essay on Babalon or a dark fantasy story about her. Instead, it turns out this is a comical story that reinterprets Babalon in a Discordian manner. Typical to Discordian works, this is mostly comical and may seem nonsensical, but it also has hidden brilliance to it.

Not what I was expecting, but I still liked it.
