Traditional interviews are not always very good at telling you who somebody really is.
A CV can tell you about experience and technical capability, but it tells you far less about how somebody behaves around other people.
Christine explains why she prefers group interviews as part of a recruitment process. They allow you to ask everyone the same questions, compare candidates more fairly, and observe things a CV simply cannot show you: who listens, who interrupts, who thinks, who copies, who shows humility, who has common sense, and who genuinely seems to give a damn.
The point is not to replace every other recruitment step. It is to gather better evidence before making a hiring decision.
Because you are not just recruiting somebody to do a job. You are choosing somebody to join your team.
