 In this episode, I speak with Kevin, a retired Discovery Channel employee who shares a chilling firsthand encounter deep in the wilderness of Washington State. While camping along the Lewis River near Ape Canyon, at the base of Mount Saint Helens, Kevin woke up in the middle of the night to an experience he will never forget. Drawn by the sounds of the river, he stepped out into the darkness—only to come face to face with something massive. Standing at the water’s edge was a Sasquatch… drinking directly from the river.

Kevin describes the creature as being completely unaware of his presence at first, crouched down with its face in the water. But in a sudden moment, everything changed. The being lifted its head and locked eyes with him—as if it had just realized it wasn’t alone. What followed was a silent, tense exchange between man and something not supposed to exist. Then, just as quickly as it appeared, the creature turned and disappeared into the forest… leaving Kevin standing there in disbelief.

This encounter took place in one of the most legendary Bigfoot regions in North America—an area with a long history of strange sightings, unexplained activity, and stories that refuse to go away.
