Abused, traumatized, and feeling unloved, Renee' grew up uncertain of her place in this world. Even when good things happened to her, she struggled with deep depression and sorrow until God took hold of her life. At the moment of her surrender, He opened the prison gates of her mind and began to rewrite her story.
Renee' Cairns is an ordained minister who serves young women who have experienced similar trauma. She and her husband Jim founded Broken Chains, Transformed Lives, where they help hurting people find freedom in Christ. She has traveled from North Carolina to Trinidad and Tanzania, ministering the Word and seeing lives transformed by the power of the blood of Jesus Christ.
