Don't Mention the Axes is a comedy podcast where three former axe throwers get together to chat nonsense, tell ridiculous stories, and occasionally reminisce about their time in the throwing lanes.

Hosted by Chewie, Kooks, and Meat Fists, the show started life as a group of axe throwing commentators who spent far too much time talking between matches. Eventually someone had the bright idea to put microphones in front of them and record the chaos.

Each episode is a laid-back hangout filled with random topics, strange tangents, questionable life advice, and the kind of conversations that usually happen after hours at the throwing venue. One minute the lads might be talking about bizarre competitions or odd characters they’ve encountered over the years, and the next they’re debating things like microwaved kippers, or why someone thought dressing up as a strongman rabbit was a good idea.

You don’t need to know anything about axe throwing to enjoy the show. At its heart, Don't Mention the Axes is simply three friends having a laugh and sharing stories — the sort of conversation you’d expect if you pulled up a chair at the table with them.
