About this listen

Does anyone’s life turn out as they had planned? After graduating from high school at 14 years of age Rose planned to spend the summer hanging out with friends then head off to college in the fall. Her mother, on the other hand, had different expectations. Rose would spend the next three years as a house slave. After that she was free to do whatever she wanted. So Rose did the only thing she could. She ran away from home.

With what seemed like very little effort Rose landed on her feet finding work as a maid then as kitchen help in an upscale restaurant in Carmel Valley. Things were going according to plan until her life twisted and she learned that not only was the world a dark place for a girl all alone but that she too harbored the darkness within herself. Follow Rose’s journey from age 14 to 73 as she transforms from the innocence of youth into a life filled with both light and darkness; joy and sorrow.

The Ghost Assassin is a two book series that should be listened to in order. They contain mature content including murder, rape, sex trafficking of young women and children and vengeance.
