About this listen
In this episode of Hunting 4 Answers: On January 5, 2026, first responders were called to a home near North 26th Street in Milwaukee after reports of a fire and a possible weapon. Inside, 22-year-old Gladys Johnson-Ball was found unresponsive and later pronounced deceased. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner ruled her death a homicide caused by asphyxia and confirmed that she was pregnant at the time.Court records show a 21-year-old man was arrested and initially charged with arson and reckless endangerment. An amended complaint later added first-degree reckless homicide and a separate count related to Gladys’s unborn child. All charges are allegations, and the case remains before the courts.
