 Der aus der Region stammende Komponist und Pianist Martin Schmalz arbeitet heute als Dozent für Korrepetition und Partiturspiel an der Musikhochschule Frankfurt am Main – und kehrt am 21. Februar gemeinsam mit der international erfolgreichen Bratschistin Muriel Razavi in seine Heimat zurück. Muriel ist Doktorandin, Professorin für Viola und weltweit als Konzertbratschistin unterwegs – mit enger Verbindung zur Region. In dieser Folge spricht Martin über seinen Weg zum Komponisten, über Ausbildung, Inspiration und die Entwicklung einer eigenen musikalischen Handschrift. Außerdem geht es um das gemeinsame Konzert und darum, was es bedeutet, in der Heimat aufzutreten.
