Karmele es un ejemplo viviente de lo que es reinventarse. De una familia tradicional a lanzarse de lleno a la contracultura barcelonesa en plena contestación anti franquista. Llega a Madrid a trabajar en TVE y de ahí pasa a Tómbola y Sálvame que marcaron una época y la marcaron a ella. Feminista de corazón a pesar de estar "formalmente jubilada" no para de protagonizar proyectos y escribir. Karmele es como un vendaval que te hace pensar con energía y con un enorme sentido del humor.
