About this listen
We start the show with some history in Detroit where Patrick Kane became the leading point getter of all American-born NHLers surpassing Mike Modano. Are there any active players that could challenge the mark?
Last night had plenty of dramatic comeback wins with the Carolina Hurricanes and Edmonton Oilers highlighting them. Carolina scored three goals in the last two minutes to beat Utah 5-4 in regulation. The Edmonton Oilers stormed back from 3-0 down in the third and took a 4-3 overtime victory against the San Jose Sharks.
It was the Alex show in Buffalo last night with Alex Tuch getting a hat trick and Alex Lyon getting 37 saves in a 4-1 victory. Lyon has now won his last ten appearances for the Sabres. Are we about to see the Sabres break their playoff drought?
John Matisz from The Score talks with the guys about a recent article he wrote about the fall of Canadian goaltending development.
