Amidst the deep, dark leagues of Kathür, Cubonia's southern face, a legend is born. Küdz Rotbane begins his life as a Banished Goblin, removed from society and spurned at every step. But the life of a Goblin is a fast and violent one, and Küdz perseveres despite constant opposition to become one of the elite Goblin Assassins of Kathür. His life, however, is not as he would like it. Dwelling within Küdz is a passion that no other Goblin has felt before, a passion for food. When word reaches his ears of a secret society of chefs, Küdz sets out on the Path of Flavors to join their ranks. What he finds there is something he never expected. Standing against prejudice and hate, Küdz Rotbane works to become Cubonia's first Goblin Chef. Will he rise to the ranks of the legends who came before him or will his past drag him down into the mire and claim his life?
