In this episode, I talk about why you are never as good or as bad as you think you are, no matter what season you are in. Whether things feel amazing or feel like they are falling apart, the goal is to step back, regain perspective, and operate from a calm mind at a deliberate pace as often as you can.
I break down why this logical approach to life works, but also why it cannot ignore emotions. We are emotional beings, even when we wish we were not. The work is not to suppress emotions or pretend they do not exist, but to acknowledge them, feel them, and then place healthy boundaries around how much they get to define how you see yourself.
This conversation is about learning how to ride the waves without letting them carry you too far in either direction. It is about staying grounded when things are going well, and staying steady when things feel heavy. This perspective supports better decision making, clearer headspace, and a more sustainable inside/out approach to life, fitness, and personal growth.
