The committee also includes ATM Kamrul Hasan, a NYPD officer and brother of the late Detective Didarul Islam. The team reflects the citys boroughs mix, with notable figures like Colson Whitehead, Min Jin Lee, Sonny Rollins, and Cole Escola. Mamdani has also named Lillian Bonsignore as FDNY commissioner.
