今月は師走ですね。
私生活でも仕事でも、何かと気忙しく、
バタバタと過ごしている方も多いのではないでしょうか。
しかしそんな時にこそ、茶道の時間の大切さを改めて感じます。
一服のお茶で心を静めることはもちろん、
亭主として客に向き合う時、稽古の中でさまざまな点前に取り組む時
そこには日本人が昔から大切にしてきた「間」や「引き算の美学」が息づいています。
忙しいからこそ立ち止まり、余分なものを削ぎ落とし、本質に向き合う。
師走は、そんな日本人の感性を意識するのにふさわしい季節なのかもしれません。
今日も一緒に、日本人の心について学んでいきましょう。
