主人公の志川は、新卒で就職した不動産会社を辞め、現在、ＳＭの女王様をデリバリーするお店の電話番をしている。友達には「そんな職業は辞めたら？」と眉をひそめられたが、女王様の中でも美織さんという最高に素敵な人に出会い、そこそこ幸せに暮らしていた。
ある日、あこがれの美織さんと初めてごはんを食べに行く約束をして舞い上がるものの、当日にドタキャン。そのまま音信不通になってしまう。彼女の常連のお客さんなどにこっそり連絡を取り行方を探るうちに、どうも自分の知っている美織さんとは違う面ばかりが見えてきて……。
過去、志川が不動産会社を辞めた理由は、あこがれの男性社員・星先輩と付き合う寸前に、先輩が自分に求めている性的なことが一切無理だと気づいたからだった。好きだったのに。付き合えないと正直に言っただけで、志川は同僚に悪女扱いをされ、そのまま会社にもいづらくなり、退社することになってしまったのだ。
