- Este metaanálisis sistemático evaluó la incidencia de efectos adversos oculares, retinopatía diabética y neuropatía óptica isquémica anterior no arterítica (NAION) en adultos tratados con semaglutide en 78 ensayos clínicos aleatorizados que abarcan 73 640 participantes.
- Los resultados no mostraron un incremento significativo en trastornos oculares generales ni en retinopatía diabética con semaglutide, aunque se observó una asociación estadísticamente significativa con NAION, si bien la evidencia disponible es insuficiente para conclusiones definitivas sobre este riesgo específico.
