Outdoor movement mimics light therapy, boosts serotonin and endorphins, lowers cortisol, improves sleep, enhances brain function, and activates the parasympathetic nervous system for stress management. Even indoor movement helps. Combined with eating well, Mediterranean diet recipes, strength training, and good time management, regular winter exercise supports both mental and physical health and builds resilience through the colder months.
