En este capítulo de Economía sin monotonía cerramos temporada con broche de oro. Valentina Villa, directora general de la Fundación Santander México, nos contó cómo va a operar esta nueva área del banco de origen español que ya realiza esta labor en su matriz y en otros países en los que opera. El capital inicial es de 52 millones de pesos y para el 2026 tiene tres objetivos iniciales: ayudar a que al menos 15,000 jóvenes puedan concluir la preparatoria; inversión en salud, y trabajar en protección del medio ambiente, con énfasis en acción frente a fenómenos naturales, como huracanes e inundaciones. El objetivo es que México alcance el desarrollo a través de un cambio sistémico en la filantropía.
