Love, love, love this story. Wonderful characters and storyline. Just perfect. And, as usual, so was Joel’s narration. He always gives such depth and emotion to the characters.

Wonderful story with great characters and an amazing narration by Joel Leslie. It was a touching story and I kept bursting into laughter at the banter but was also cheering Lachlan on in his quest to win Joe back. Some stories catch your interest from the first page to the last and this was one. Can’t wait to find another treasure from Lily Morton.

Lily Morton has such a wonderful sense of humour that comes through in her characters. Her stories never fail to lift me and take me to a happier place. I’m a huge fan of second chance/you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone romances, and Lachlan and Jo tick every single box. Joel Leslie performs the story brilliantly, with nuance and emotion, and doesn’t just read it (which really annoys me when I hear other narrators do that). His rendering of some of the characters is hilarious. So many laugh out loud moments, along with all the feels. Lily Morton’s story and the narration are a true delight.

Just beautiful! I loved the type of second Chance romance. Lovable characters working on real life issues in their relationship with loads of humour and wedding planner dramas. Perfectly descriptive spice and narrated expertly by Joel Leslie
