Short but Impressive

I have only just begun my journey into the world of Warhammer. Staring with Helsreach then Hunger and now this. Although Helsreach was the only full length story these shorts are incredible and worth the small price to pay. What makes the shorts different are the way they add music and subtle sound effects to really bring the stories to life and in my opinion this should be the norm for all audiobooks as it increases your ability to become immersed in the story. In short, for three dollars this is an exceptional listen and more then worth it for newcomers to the Warhammer world and veterans alike!

One of the best loyalist chapters in WH40k!

The Flesh Tearers are always hard and the brutal in all they do. this story is no less than pure Tearer hardcore.

Short but AMAZING

The Flesh Tearers are my favorite chapter in 40K. They definitely need more content. This was very short but amazingly enjoyable. I listened to it a bunch of times.

More Blood for the Blood God!

An interesting single scene encounter involving a World Eater Chaos Space Marine Champion and an Imperial Flesh Eater Space Marine Champion. A quick delving on their differences and lack of.

The story is very short (under 20 minutes) but under $3 as well so seems not a bad deal. The production value was good, the voice narration and the actual writing. Makes me want to read a full size book.

The length is the reason for a 4 instead of a 5. If they could get me a full novel sized book and it would be 5 all day long.

Enemies with similarities make good narratives

I appreciated the narrator's and actors' performance. The well-worked sound editing added a great visceral tone to the drama. Concerning the narrative itself, I enjoyed seeing such similarities between the Blood god's follower and the Flesh Tearer. As much as the Flesh Tearer may deny having any commonality with his enemy, it is clear that he craves violence and bloodshed as much as, if not more than, his foe.

Who was less in control?

Good short story which begged the question, which character was truly beserk. The Flesh Tearer or the World Eater?

Just a cool fight

Great performance, story is not really worth paying for though, especially at full price. It's essentially just a short fight with a bit of drama sprinkled on it.

Solid work, both from the author and the performer

While it doesn't necessarily add much to the existing Flesh Tearer law, it's still a good tale. Only minor issue is I sometimes lost track of which character was which.
