"Askes nye nabo" er fjerde bog i serien om Aske. Bøgerne kan læses i forlængelse af hinanden eller hver for sig. De er lette at læse og henvender sig til de syv- til niårige. Bent Bo Nielsen (1949-2018) var en dansk forfatter. Han var oprindeligt uddannet folkeskolelærer og udgav over 150 børnebøger. Han debuterede som forfatter i 1980 med billedbogen "Skrubben Sigurd" og modtog i 1992 Danmarks Skolebibliotekers forfatterpris sammen med Hans Chr. Hansen.
