simply fantastic

I might need another listen to fully comprehend the concepts given. However, this audiobook gave clear and succinct explanations on musical concepts, (that I had previously no understanding of), in only a few hours. The tone of the writing and narration worked incredibly well in keeping me entertained and engaged throughout my entire listen. I would recommend this to anyone curious about music theory as a brilliant introduction.

insufficient to help someone become a expert

Only 4 chapters is way too short to help someone go from a beginner to an expert in music theory. The content of the chapters was alright, but would have benefited from playing musical examples. I definitely wouldn't recommend this short expensive book for someone to develop expertise in music theory. I was very disappointed.

Wrong name not for Begginers

This book is not suitable as an audiobook. One would need to be sitting at a piano, pen and paper in hand and have time to study. I have a reasonable knowledge of music theory and found it far too fast paced and complicated. If you have time, it’s for you but it is definitely not a beginner book.
