Publisher's Summary

The unabridged, downloadable audiobook edition of Eoin Colfer’s Artemis Fowl: The Artic Incident, read by the actor Gerry O’Brien.

Someone has been supplying Class-A illegal human power sources to the goblins. Captain Holly Short of the LEPrecon Unit is sure that her archenemy, 13-year-old Artemis Fowl, is responsible.

But is he? Artemis has his own problems to deal with: his father is being held to ransom and only a miracle will save him. Maybe this time a brilliant plan just won’t be enough. Maybe this time Artemis needs help....

great stories, different narrators disappoints

I love the Artemis Fowl audiobooks!! While this narrator and the other one before it are both good in their own right. Nathaniel Parker brings the story to life with unparalleled voice acting, and has read the whole series. Not sure why audible chose different narrators when his series is so brilliantly well done.

Great novel and audio

Really enjoyed the audio on this one, great narration. My only gripe with the story is that Eoin Colfer reuses a lot of the same figures of speech to describe certain aspects of the story. Otherwise, a great Artemis Fowl adventure.

Good story. Ok reader.

It was a good story but more character voices could have been used. Overall 4 stars.

Im falling in love with this series

Since I moved to Ireland I saw this books, read the first one physically and started with the audiobooks due to lack of time, and I’m loving this books The audio is quite nicely narrated and the voice changes to represent each character is going great

just as entertaining as the first one.

Eoin Colfer's humour keeps you chuckling all the way through, brought to life appropriately by the gentle Irish accent of Gerry O'Brien.
Sets me up with an appetite for the next to continue the saga of our dear young Artemis.

Entertaining and action-packed adventure

Brilliant concept with the technology savvy fairies and a young prodigy with criminal tendencies. Action from the get-go interlaced with wry remarks makes it a rather entertaining "read".

Artemis Fowl: The Artic Incident

I would recommend this to all ages, it’s fun and full of imagination. Wonderfully read and was brought to life. I am working my way through all the 8 books of Artemis Fowl and I am sure i will indeed enjoy those also. The film has many bad critics but I am a fan myself.
