Great for only 5 hours

An amazing book! It’s a LOT overpriced for being only 5-something hours but pretty worth the entertainment value. The characters are well-rounded and realistic, and the plot is VERY smart and well thought out — which is not something I was expecting since it was classified in the Children’s Books section of audible. They need to combine some of the books in the series for better value.

Okay part of a story

This is a beginning act not a full story, ends up being very underwhelming. The main character is interesting but there's no ebb and flow to what is written and the climax of the book is non existent. The part of the story that really matters to progress what is likely the overall series plot is a few sentences and the actual work for progressing the story is done off screen. The whole series might be great as a single book, but this is not a complete story.

MkI is pronounced Mark 1

A decent super hero story about a tech genius searching for her parents. The story was a bit thin, meant for a YA audience. I'll try the next book since I like the genre.

Beyond "Immersive", Surpasses "Engaging"

As a theatre purist, I was skeptical to follow the recommendations for an audiobook, but looking down the barrel of a 44-hour roadtrip from Minneapolis to Houston and back got me to take a chance.
I was hooked by the end of the first chapter. I never expected to "get" the main character; but Haskell's knack for storytelling, coupled with Beresford's enchanting performance, created a level of entertainment I couldn't have expected outside of the Orpheum.
Even if you don't think you fit the target demographic, trust me, you do.

iron man in a wheelchair

The main character is much like iron man in a way with the fact SHE,S in a wheelchair and not that rich.
anyway not bad for a superhero story.
