Not sure if I can get through this

I love JF Penn's books but the narration is absolutely dire. It is so bad I dont think I can listen all the way through.
Such a shame but it is seriously dreadful!
So many great narrators around so not sure what happened with these books but I actually cannot listen any more, she is so bad.
High pitched voice at times and clearly doesnt even understand what she is reading!

Solid story but strained narration

I'm a huge fan of Joanna Penn's nonfiction work so wanted to try her fiction. The story is enjoyable, a bit Indiana Jones style adventure with interesting artifacts.
But I'm sad to say I didn't enjoy the narration. It's stilted and over pronounced - overall hard work to listen to.
