Publisher's Summary

A horrifying secret rises in the aftermath of an archangelic war in New York Times best-selling author Nalini Singh's deadly and beautiful Guild Hunter world....

The Archangel of Death and the Archangel of Disease may be gone but their legacy of evil lives on - especially in Africa, where the shambling, rotting creatures called the reborn have gained a glimmer of vicious intelligence.

It is up to Titus, archangel of this vast continent, to stop the reborn from spreading across the world. Titus can't do it alone, but of the surviving powerful angels and archangels, large numbers are wounded, while the rest are fighting a surge of murderous vampires.

There is no one left...but the Hummingbird. Old, powerful, her mind long a broken kaleidoscope. Now she must stand at Titus's side against a tide of death, upon a discovery more chilling than any other. For the Archangel of Disease has left them one last terrible gift....

Excellent

Nalini has outdone herself with this story. I adore the reawakening and growth of the Humming Bird and the growing relationship between her and Titus. The progression of the story makes it difficult to put the book down.

Beautifully Written

I loved hearing the story of the Hummingbird come to life, even though this is part of a series Archangel’s Sun stands on its own with an unexpected sweetness that I really enjoyed.

GREAT WORLD-BUILDING, GOOD STORY BUT..

Every step of the way I’ve been with the Guild Hunters, Angels, Vampires and Archangels as they battle their enemies and Nalini Singh is absolutely fantastic at world-building this paranormal world of good vs evil. The chemistry between heroes and heroines are sizzling and fraught with danger and angst.. and the passion and romance leaves you swooning in breathless delight. However, with Titus and Sharini’s story, it felt more about uncovering Charisemnon’s secrets and finding his infectious deadly ‘reborn’ that threatens Africa after the earth-shattering war in the skies of New York than a romance. Oh the growing attraction, telling looks and brief intimate wing touches are there between these two powerful Archangels in occasional chapters, but the ‘dance’ comes way too long and brief in the story imo. For any Guild Hunter fan this is still a must because it reveals back-stories, connections and takes the storyline further. Good dual POV narration by Justine Eyre. WORTH A CREDIT? Yes I’m definitely a fan of this alternate world even if I found this one a tiny wee bit disappointing.

Swooning !!!

I've read all the books in the guild hunter series and it was a delight to listen to the Humming bird & Titus story. I would advise readers to read the series in order but if you start with this one I assure you that you will want to know what came before..... Nalini Singh is a talented writer and so far has exceeded all expectations every time I read one of her stories. I can't wait for the next one to come along. Good navigation !!

Thoroughly enjoyed!

I was excited to learn this story was to be Titus and The Hummingbird, an intriguing combination. I liked both characters, especially Titus, in previous books. Lady Sharine is no longer the delicate Hummingbird we first met, and is more than capable of knocking down the brashness and bravado of the Archangel of Africa. We finally learn about the demons that fractured Illium's beloved mother. I enjoy new romances that step away from Elena and Raphael and how these couplings affect the dynamics of the guildhunter world. I look forward to the next book!

Perfect :-)

As always, I am struck by the way Nalini writes: Her characters believable and full of a depth that I so love... I have enjoyed every aspect of this book and, I know, I will read it again and again as I do her other many books. I have waited so long for some sunshine to light this year.... and, just as I knew it would, this wonderful story has made me smile :-) Thank you to Nalini and her team...Big love, Vanessa

Archangels Sun

I love all books in this series and each one is my favourite when listen to. Having said that, this is definitely my new favourite, so much so that I will start relistening to tomorrow.

I love it.

I really enjoyed listening to the book. It looped me in and kept my attention. I really liked how Hummingbird was not portrayed as a broken maiden needing a hero.
