Would recommend this to anyone needing help!

Excellent book about anxiety. To the point, simple, concise, yet vast in its explanation, and more importantly, solution. Though I no longer suffer from debilitating anxiety, I once did. It would have been great if a book like this was around then. At that time, 30 years ago, only one book on the subject could be found on the bookstore shelf. I still own that book, and now this one.

Knowledge is power!

I work in the field of mental health and found this book to be a very useful tool. I have experienced anxiety and even panic attacks in the past so the book made sense to me. I think it's very important for people to learn about treatment options but they should also understand that they may need professional help. I do believe there are folks out there that will benefit greatly from this book. It's like having your own personal therapist for just couple of dollars.

An excellent book to help manage your anxiety!

I knew I was feeling typical mom stress and that I tend to be a bit of a worry wart, but I didn't realize just how much anxiety I carry around until I listen this book. Wow. I can relate to so many of the personal stories and feelings described in the book. I also realized that many of the physical symptoms I regularly experience are probably related to the anxiety. Luckily, this book gives lots of great advice on how to manage anxiety. There are strategies on identifying and conquering various types of anxiety, coping with the symptoms of anxiety, preventing relapse, and lots more. I truly think this is a fantastic book for anyone battling anxiety, from those who feel anxious only sometimes to those with full-blown panic attacks. It's not only a huge help for handling anxiety, but it also helps you feel less alone with you read other people's stories. Sometimes that connection and understanding is all you need!

Understand the cause of my panic attacks!

Very helpful in helping you understand what causes panic attacks and how to accept and work through them. This book gives you the mental tools to accept your anxiety and as a result lessen your anxiety and the occurrence of panic attacks. It has helped me look at the positive side of things again and to have faith that I'm going to be okay, the feeling I get now when I overcome my anxiety is a great joy for me and the people around me!

Lovely Audiobook!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I just finished listening your book. Since the first day I purchased it, I began to apply the technics you share and I am doing so much better. It has been less then one week and I can truly say that your techniques work, I am so happy with the results I am having that I am going to share what I have learned with a 19 year old young man that I know who is suffering from debilitating anxiety and panic attacks. I know your techniques will help him too.

The book is very repetitive but it helped me

This book takes a different approach to anxiety recovery that I’ve never seen before. Less of the “self help” and more of the “self cure”. I’ve experienced anxiety for my entire adult life, and this book is the most help I’ve ever received in overcoming it and living my life.
