Ane skal på tur med sin far. De skal i tivoli, men først skal de besøge Anes farmor. Ane vil gerne have sin farmor med i tivoli, men det er hun ikke meget for. Alligevel får Ane overtalt farmor - nu skal hun bare også få lokket bangebuksen ud af farmor, så de alle tre kan have en rigtig sjov dag. Ane-bøgerne fortæller om Ane og alle hendes oplevelser både i skolen og derhjemme sammen med venner og familie. Per Gammelgaard (f. 1948) blev uddannet bibliotekar i 1973 og har siden da skrevet en række digtsamlinger. I 1981 debuterede han som romanforfatter med "Er du hjemme, Johanne?"
