Charlotte sieht keine andere Chance mehr für sich und ihre Karriere, als selbst zu ermitteln. Wenn sie ihren Job verliert, wird kein Krankenhaus der Welt sie je wieder einstellen. Und wenn sie nicht herausfindet was los ist, werden weitere unschuldige Menschen sterben. Als sie dem Mörder in die Quere kommt, plant der ihren Tod genauso minutiös wie alle anderen zuvor.

Sechs perfekte Morde - Morde, von denen nur der Leser und der Mörder wissen - bedrohen erst die Karriere, dann das Privatleben und schließlich das Leben der jungen Ärztin. Der Autor weiß, worüber er schreibt, denn er ist selber Anästhesist. Akribisch und realistisch hat er für "seinen" Mörder perfekte Morde ausgetüftelt.
