They say size doesn't matter....

Football star and Internet sensation Gavin "Anaconda" Adams is the biggest celebrity our little town has ever seen.

But I had no idea who he was when I accidentally walked in on him naked. I was shocked, seeing all of him, a cocky grin on his face. I didn't know what to do.

So I ran.

Now I'm in a world of trouble. No matter what I do, I can't get that image out of my head. His strong muscular thighs. His washboard abs. His big, throbbing, toe-curling...Jesus!

To make matters worse, Gavin wants a date with me. He's seen the lust in my eyes, and he's not taking no for an answer. I should tell him to get lost. He's nothing but trouble, and he's only here for a week. But with one look, I go weak in the knees. And whenever I hear his deep, rich voice, I feel my defenses crumbling. It's only one night. What could it hurt?

Anaconda is a full-length sexy romantic comedy with an HEA, no cheating, and no cliffhanger!

PLEASE GET SOMEONE NEW TO READ THIS BOOK

I could not finish this book due to the narration by the male reader. It was the worst narration I have ever listed to on Audible. I could not finish the book as I could not take the narration any more. The story is pretty good, but the narration was so awful that I had a hard time really getting in to the story at all.

Nope

Couldn’t even get past chapter 2. The male narrator is so bad it made this book impossible to listen to.

Who wouldn’t love an Anaconda!

Anaconda is a great romance by Lauren Landish. The audiobook just brings the story to life and I love both of the Narrators voices. It was very entertaining. I am voluntarily leaving my honest review after reading this arc and listening to this arc.

Narration is so, so bad.

So, the story is okay -- nothing spectacular, but a light and fun dirty romance. Unfortunately, I couldn't even enjoy it for what it is, because the male narrator is so awful.

Obviously, his female characterizations are the absolute worst, but I don't think his male voices are very good, either (as evidenced by the introduction of Gavin in Chapter 2, when the narrator's voice inexplicably sounded sullen and slightly intellectually deficient). I would summarize his reading style as 'sarcastic melodrama'. Honestly, I wonder if he would read a more serious (non-romance) novel any better, and maybe he just sounds so terrible here because he doesn't take this particular material very seriously.

But, seriously, the way he reads...well, picture this: in a high school classroom, a teen boy snatches a romance novel off a girl's desk and then, in an effort to embarrass her for her interest in smut, he begins reading aloud in an over-the-top, over-emphasized titillating tone; yep, that about sums it up. I think the best example of his caricature style -- and the moment I became convinced producers really should have nipped this one in the bud -- is the sex scene at the end of Chapter 30. Oh. My. God. It's possibly the least arousing thing I've ever heard in my life.

Seriously, this isn't a close call; it's really, truly terrible. The only reason I gave the performance two stars is because the female narrator, while not exceptional, was not bad.

Glad it was in the free romance section

I would not recommend this book.

The male reader was cringe worthy with the female voice. 😖 The love story writing was just as painful.

Light and cheeky

This was a fun listen for me. It's cheeky and predictable, but the narration sure brought an abundance of sexayyy!! There were more than a few scenes that had me blushing lol. If you're looking for a naughty guilty pleasure that's low on the melodrama?? This is it...

Freaking awesome

I read the book when it came out and loved it.But bringing it to life with Shannon and Brooke brought it to a whole nother level. Anaconda is such a hot freaking story and if you don't want to read it, audio is differently the way to go.

disappointed

I usually love this writer's stories but this one did not bring it home to me. The story was flat, predictable and lacked on sustenance. The intimate scenes were nothing to write home about either. There was no flow with the story, it was cut up and jumped to big moments between the two leads very quickly. am very disappointed at the male's voice, it is hard to believe that voice comes from a 20something football star. the female voice sounded very much to Miley Cyrus. Again, I am very disappointed with this story.
